Er werd ons gevraagd om de onafgewerkte St. Michiels- toren te Gent als 3D print uit te werken, gebaseerd op de historische plannen.<\/p>\n<p id=\"rightalign\">De St. Michielstoren was ontworpen in Late Schelde Gotiek. De plannen waren getekend in 1652, maar zijn nooit volledig uitgevoerd. De plannen waren opgemaakt in Gentse voet, dus enkele omrekeningen waren nodig.<\/p>\n<p id=\"rightalign\">De totale hoogte van de print was 130 cm ( 1\/100 ), maar aangezien de beschikbare 3D printers een maximum hoogte van 30cm aankunnen, waren we genoodzaakt om de print in segmenten uit te werken.<\/p>\n<p>De verschillende elementen passen als een puzzel in elkaar, en worden met speciaal voorziene magneetpunten bijeen gehouden.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-327 gallery-columns-4 gallery-size-thumbnail gallery1'><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n\/\/ <![CDATA[\r\n\tjQuery(document).ready(function () {\r\n\t\tjQuery(\".gallery1 a\").attr(\"rel\",\"gallery1\");\t\r\n\t\tjQuery('a[rel=\"gallery1\"]').colorbox({maxWidth:\"95%\", maxHeight:\"95%\",title: function(){ return jQuery(this).children().attr(\"alt\");
